How Our Program Works

We utilize neuroscience to harness brain plasticity.

In the five sessions of Replenishing Resilience we focus on harnessing the Pre-Frontal Cortex to reverse the wiring of the Amygdala and Limbic System. We emphasize the following:

  • Anything we consistently experience for ~70 days rewires the brain

  • The threats we continue to experience rewire our brains – the amygdala and limbic system - to keep us in a constant state of hyperarousal

  • Constant hyperarousal leads to anxiety, depression, and anger

  • By practicing resilience behaviors for ~70 days we rewire the pre-frontal cortex to block hyperarousal and restore perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.

The NResilience™ Model

These five sets of behaviors—identified through neuroscience research—replenish resilience, thereby improving mental health, social engagement, and academic performance.

We utilize this behavioral information to develop our 5-Step Process for decreasing burnout and increasing resilience.

Each client starts with a pre-assessment for all employees or students involved. The participants are divided into small cohorts, up to 30 people, for five, one-hour sessions every other week, delivered virtually. After the sessions are complete, all participants will take a post-assessment so the difference can be measured from the start to the end of the program. You will be able to see the improvement in your staff or students.
